Weight loss is such a huge topic today, there are probably more people that you know that are either on a diet, trying to lose weight, or simply trying to eat better. You may want to recommend Brad Chappel’s Fast Weight Loss blog to him — . Here Brad draws from his own personal experiences to share with you the most effective weight loss tricks. What I like about this blog is Brad highlights in a very well-written fashion the juxtaposition between how easy it is to gain weight, and how difficult it is to lose it. Brad shares with his readers on how the key to get success in life is to keep on learning good things from wherever you get. It does not get much simpler than that, and we could all use a little dose of simple truth now and then. He also makes it well known that winning the race is to be steady and slow, and fast may not always be the best. For example his post “Drinking more water for losing extra weight†is some advice that we could all use, but he offers some excellent alternatives for getting your water intake if you are not a huge water fan. Other posts you will find enlightening are Satisfactory eating with fewer calories, Healthy weight loss foods, Calorie burning exercises, Drinking more water for losing extra weight, How to lose more pounds, More than half of adults in European Union overweight, How to lose love handles tips, weight loss motivational tips, Heavy born infants more likely to be overweight later on, How a glass of apple juice daily will do the trick, and Overweight getting results from exercising.
Navigation on this site is fairly straightforward. Posts are left marginalized, and the additional blog content can be found in the right navigation bar. The blog offers a nice beige background with forest green border, and dark brown text leaving it very easy on the eyes and an enjoyable read. On the right navigation bar, you can subscribe to the feed and check out Brad’s favorite Fast Weight Loss posts including “How to lose Love Handles†and “How to lose 10 pounds in two weeksâ€, both subjects any weight loss participant would probably jumpt to first. You will also find here a menu of various weight loss blogs, a disclaimer on the medical accuracy of the blog, and a series of standard blog widgets. I wouldn’t mind seeing some categories in this section either, this topic could easily be divided into exercise, diet, goal setting, cardio, yoga, and items of that nature to organize the blog a little bit more. Some pictures would also be a great addition to this blog as currently the posts are standard text, and pictures would definitely spice this one up a bit.
Overall I am going with 3.5 here, and just a few suggestions. The content is well done, even though clearly English is not the first language here. However, this is barely noticeable which to me speaks volumes on the content quality as it is very difficult to get a point across in a tongue different than your own. The posts are fairly frequent, every few days or so. I would suggest to entice his readers a bit more to perhaps include a daily weight loss tip, nothing major just a quip to keep daily active posting. Then perhaps additions of longer articles at the current frequency would balance the blog out excellently. I would also suggest taking AdSense out of every single post, I don’t think it is necessary, and could be a bit distracting. Otherwise, I think this is an excellent blog, as do each of Brad’s 114 readers obviously. I think with just a few tweaks it could be a stunning success. And for a blog that is about personal growth and goal achievement, I think that would be well deserved.
